Arranging a Shuttle – Check-in at Scotty’s –

We at Hells Canyon Shuttle know that  you are excited about your trip and want to get on the river as soon as possible.  We offer the following services for you.

(1)  If you want to do the on line form because of time or arriving late, we can do everything on the “online reservationpage” to make a streamlined trip for you.

(2) If you want to make Scotty’s a meeting place for your group to meet before going to the launch site we can do that also. You can ice up, fuel up, buy licenses, passes, etc, or to just visit the store and get any  last minute items and we can do all arrangements there.

(3) If you are arriving late at night, we have a camp site behind the store that has increased in popularity the past few years we have advertised it.  You can rig up and pack for your trip. Extra parking for leaving a vehicle you do not want shuttled in a secured place. It is free.  Great flat grass area for tents, or just a sleeping bag.  We have two clean portables for your use, and in the morning we have two inside bathrooms for your use.  We have hot pots full of FREE coffee and the store has burritos, muffins, and other breakfast items.  You don’t have to break down your kitchen, and makes for a quick getaway in the morning.  It saves the hassle of sleeping along the side of the road, paying for a camp site, and wondering where everyone else is.

(4) If you would like to leave a cooler in the vehicle for the driver to put ice  and beverages in, please make a note on the shuttle application. We will be more than happy to give you this option at the take out.

Another plus is the restaurant and bar next door.  Many late arrivals don’t mind waiting there.

Section 5 – Vehicle

Permission is hereby given to drive the described vehicle as arranged. This vehicle is covered by public liability and property damage insurance that will cover this vehicle and the shuttle driver. The vehicle has at least $100 deductible collision and comprehensive insurance. If it does not, I understand that I am liable for charges resulting from any deficiency in coverage.

I understand that the roads driven may be rough and poorly maintained. I will not hold Hells Canyon Shuttle, LLC. responsible in any way for damage done to the described vehicle while en route or parked.

If my vehicle (or trailer) is or becomes inoperable, unsafe, or unlawful to operate for any reason (including but not limited to: engine or mechanical failure, security system malfunction, ignition or gas cap key problem, no spare tire or tools, expired registration), I authorize Hells Canyon Shuttle, LLC. to exercise the option on my behalf that I have selected below.

I agree to pay for all reasonable expenses upon receiving my vehicle. Once my trip has begun, I understand the shuttle fee is non-refundable.
